2. The "VIP Club" & Reservations
- Nature of Payment: The $1.00 USD payment to join the "Tobi VIP Club" is a reservation deposit, not a purchase of the device itself.
- Benefits: This deposit secures: (a) A locked "Super Early Bird" price discount (approx. 40% off retail) on our future Kickstarter campaign, and (b) Priority shipping status.
- Refund Policy: This $1.00 deposit is fully refundable at any time prior to the final Kickstarter purchase. To request a refund, contact support@mytobiai.com.
3. Kickstarter & Pre-Orders
- Development Stage: You acknowledge that Tobi is currently in the development/production stage. The images and descriptions on the site represent our current prototypes and goals. Final product specifications may change slightly during manufacturing.
- Delivery Estimates: Estimated delivery dates (e.g., "Late 2026") are forecasts, not guarantees. Manufacturing delays can happen.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the device or website for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Tobi hardware or software.
- Harass or harm others through the use of the service.
5. Educational Disclaimer
Tobi is an AI-powered educational companion designed to encourage critical thinking.
